As part of collaborative work with the Kenan East African Biodesign Fellows, I helped re-design a more reliable, context-appropriate hydrocephalus shunt for pediatric patients. The project focused on reducing failure rates, simplifying maintenance, and adapting materials and mechanics for low-resource hospitals across East Africa.
